Mathew Lohrey's journey in forestry commenced with land conversion, evolving from plantation clearing to mastering the intricacies of hardwood management. His prowess took him to the mainland, where he significantly contributed to in-field chipping endeavours in notable regions like Portland and Mount Gambier.

Broadening his horizons, Mathew engaged in comprehensive plantation operations, and soon after, delved into the meticulous care of native hardwood using advanced machinery such as skidders and forwarders. Demonstrating leadership, he oversaw a pivotal pine project, handling everything from timber extraction to post production and pulp processing. This role also saw him undertake expansive land clearing, timber falling, and the establishment of fence lines.

His expertise was further showcased in Tasmania's northeast, where he led diverse hardwood projects. This experience segued into native logging contracts, eventually leading to a significant clear fall pine operation. Today, as the visionary founder and owner of his own esteemed forestry company, Mathew is set to redefine the industry standards. With an eye on expansion into plantation operations, his future is punctuated by a series of promising opportunities and groundbreaking projects.
